Join Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center to celebrate Female BIrd Day! It's a day when we celebrate all the amazing things about female birds. Often male birds get all the attention because of their beautiful colors and their melodious song, but female birds sing too! You probably didn't know that, did you? Come out to our Female Bird Day and learn even more cool things about female birds!
We will begin the day at Cedar Hill State Park with a bird walk focused on seeking out female birds (but we'll look at the boys too) and then head down to Dogwood Canyon for a presentation about all the cool things we've learned about female birds in the last ten years.
Tickets are free but please reserve your spot in advance, and donations are greatly appreciated.
