The Golden-cheeked Warbler is here! This beautiful and endangered bird is a true native Texan. They breed only in the state of Texas and nowhere else in the world!
Join one of our Master Birders on a guided hike to catch a glimpse of this amazing bird. It is rare to see them in the DFW area. They are found in the Hill Country but are rare in our area.
Pre-registration is required and spots are limited. This is a free walk but donations are always apprecited and will help us keep our preserve up and running for the Golden-cheeked Warbler to use again next year!
You can bring binoculars and cameras. We have binoculars you can borrow if you don't have your own!
Please do not use playback bird calls to attract any species of birds. It stresses all our birds and it alters the scientific data our Audio Recording Units pick up for our ornithologist's research.
