"The Life and Times of the Golden-cheeked Warbler" by Gil Eckrich, former Wildlife Biologist with Nature Conservancy in Texas
Gil studied the Golden-Cheeked warbler for twenty years while working as a Natural Resource Specialist at Fort Hood and continues to study this beautiful bird today. He is regarded by many as one of the foremost authorities on the life of the Golden-cheeked Warbler. Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center is lucky to have hosted Golden-cheeked Warblers for the last few years. Gil will discuss this beautiful and endangered bird's life history. Attendees will receive access to our picnic area, basin, and Canyon Floor trail after hours. Adult beverages will be available for those 21 and up. 20% off gift shop purchases, as well!
Tickets are $10 minimum donation. We greatly appreciate any gift above this amount to support our mission of protecting birds and the places they need, today and tomorrow.
