"The Diverse Beauty of the Blackland Prairie," with Lorelei Stierlen, Environmental Scientist at Blackland Prairie Raptor Center in Lucas, TX.
Lorelei is a passionate native plant enthusiast and has organized and worked on Blackland Prairie conservation projects for many years. She'll talk about where the Blackland Prairie is located, reveal the diverse and beautiful nature of the prairielands, and guide us through conservation steps we can take to preserve this beautiful habitat.
Attendees will receive access to our picnic area, basin, and Canyon Floor trail after hours, adult beverages will be available for those 21 and up, and 20% discount on select gift shop items. Check in begins at 5p. Grab a beverage, mingle, stroll the Canyon Floor trail. Presentation begins at 5:30p, ends at 6:30p. Stay to chat with Lorelei, shop, take a walk, or make connections. A fun time to be at the center after hours.
